Ha!

I think there are things like that that my kids might do, but they would certainly expect to be told "tough luck, kid" if what they wanted/are used to wasn't available. :) They get plenty of "Tough luck!" around here. :)LisAwayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03299284773832500834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8920003205416722373.post-27123375352092472862012-08-05T19:35:54.141-07:002012-08-05T19:35:54.141-07:00I knew there was a reason I liked you! I'm not a touchy feely mom with my own kids and I'm definitely not that way with neighbor kids.

I make them all say please and thank you, I don't feed them and I send them home when they don't get along.

We've got one who comes over and is always getting his "feelings hurt" over truly insignificant things. That stopped when I said, "I don't care about your feelings. Are you bruised or bleeding?" He said, "No". So I replied, "At our house we try and be nice to each other and get along. If you can't get along, you go home." And I sent the boy who was calling names home and I sent the boy who was complaining home. Funny how neither one was mine and yet they both came back the next day. It can't be that bad here...Holly (2 Kids and Tired)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13075380878850295214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8920003205416722373.post-14659625732819114822012-08-04T11:34:43.280-07:002012-08-04T11:34:43.280-07:00It makes you wonder if that's really how this ...It makes you wonder if that's really how this child lives or if she's just making those decisions as she goes?!
So funny. Having been in similar situations before, I'm like you--
"This is what we have, you're welcomed to it, if not, that's okay too."Momzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01078211684662158122noreply@blogger.com
